Reach customers who are actively evaluating weather and climate providers

Organisations who use weather and climate data want to know they’re using the best one or combination for their needs. They need to evaluate new providers, compare alternatives and understand whether their current supplier is still the best fit. But they often do not have the time, data infrastructure or specialist resource to run a fair and detailed market assessment.

As a result, provider evaluation is delayed, narrowed or based on incomplete testing. Strong suppliers are often left on the longlist, stuck behind incumbent relationships, internal capacity constraints or poorly structured trials.

Climingo helps solve this problem.

We work with customers who are actively trying to understand the provider market and identify the best data for their specific locations, assets, thresholds and decisions. Our independent evaluation process gives providers a clearer route into qualified commercial opportunities.

Our role is to help customers understand which providers are relevant to their use case, where different solutions perform strongly and where a new supplier or multi provider approach could add value.

For partners, this creates a focused sales channel into customers who are already asking the right questions.

Five Reasons to partner with Climingo

1. Access active customer demand

We are working with organisations across insurance, energy, utilities, infrastructure, agriculture, transport and the public sector that want to evaluate weather and climate providers but lack the internal capacity to do it properly.

These are not cold prospects. They are organisations with a live need to compare, validate or improve their data supply.

2. Be considered where you are a strong fit

Customers often default to familiar brands or free products because they do not have the time to assess the full market. Climingo helps identify where alternative or specialist providers should be considered based on customer needs, not just brand recognition .Climingo helps customers discover providers they may not otherwise have assessed, while allowing partners to engage when there is a genuine opportunity and a relevant use case.

3. Reduce friction in the sales process

Many vendors spend time educating customers before a proper evaluation can even begin. Climingo helps structure that process by clarifying the customer’s use case, locations, variables, thresholds, forecast horizons and decision requirements before introducing relevant providers.

4. Support evidence led sales

Independent benchmarking helps move conversations beyond broad capability claims. It gives customers a clearer basis for understanding where a provider may add value and gives commercial teams a more credible entry point.

5. Protect your time

We anonymise provider comparisons during the evaluation process. We only introduce providers where there appears to be a strong fit with the customer’s needs. This avoids speculative engagement and helps ensure commercial teams focus on better qualified opportunities.

How it works

Step 1: Customers outline use case

Customers come to Climingo when they want to evaluate new providers, compare alternatives or understand whether their current weather or climate data supply is fit for purpose.

We clarify the customer’s sector, locations, assets, variables, hazards, thresholds, lead times and decision requirements, so the evaluation is grounded in a real commercial or operational need.

Step 2: Climingo runs a fair evaluation

We compare relevant providers in a structured, independent and use case specific way.

Where appropriate, providers are anonymised so customers focus on performance, suitability and fit rather than brand familiarity. This gives providers a fairer route to be considered, especially where customers lack the time or resources to assess the market properly.

Step 3: Get introduced on your terms

When a provider appears well matched to the customer’s needs, we facilitate an introduction.

This means partners engage only where there is a clear fit, helping reduce wasted sales effort and create better qualified commercial conversations.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will customers see our name in the analysis?

No. While our free trials show names of providers our pro platform anonymises your name during the evaluation process. This helps ensure you only are introduced to a customer on your terms. It also helps customers focus on suitability, performance and use case fit rather than brand familiarity. We only reveal your name when the customer is ready for an introduction and you agree to be named.

Is Climingo a marketplace?

No. Climingo is an independent evaluation platform and commercial channel. We are not trying to create a generic directory of providers. Our focus is structured, use case specific evaluation for customers with real decision needs.

How do you ensure the evaluation is fair?

We evaluate providers against customer specific criteria, including locations, thresholds, variables, lead times and decision requirements. We also work with partners to understand how products should be assessed appropriately. We are always open to new methods and evaluation techniques so if you have a concern please discuss with us.

When would you introduce us to a customer?

We introduce providers when there appears to be a strong fit between the customer’s requirements and the provider’s capabilities and the results of the evaluation.

Do you rank providers publicly?

No. Our approach is use case specific. We do not believe there is one best provider for every customer, geography, variable or decision. Performance and suitability depend on context.

What types of customers are you working with?

We work with a wide range of organisations across sectors where weather and climate data directly affect operational, financial or risk decisions. This includes insurance, energy, utilities, infrastructure, agriculture, transport and the public sector.
