Our story
Climingo was founded by Dr Avi Baruch and Alper Dincer through the Carbon13 venture builder programme.
After years working across weather, climate, infrastructure, insurance and technology, we saw the same problem repeatedly. Organisations rely on weather and climate data for critical decisions, but choosing the right provider is difficult, inconsistent and often shaped by brand familiarity, existing relationships or limited internal testing.
Climingo was built to change that.
We help organisations compare providers fairly, understand which vendors are best suited to their locations, assets and decisions, and make more confident choices about the data they use.
Our goal is simple: help every customer know they are using the best weather and climate data for their needs.

Dr Avi Baruch
Co-Founder and CEO
Avi has over a decade of experience building and scaling climate technology companies.
Before Climingo, he co-founded Previsico, a flood forecasting company spun out from Loughborough University. Previsico grew to more than 50 employees, over £3 million in ARR, and supported insurers, governments, infrastructure providers, and major commercial customers.
At Climingo, Avi leads strategy, partnerships, customer development, and product.
Alper Dincer
Co-Founder and CTO
Alper leads Climingo’s technical strategy, data architecture, and product development.
He has extensive experience in weather data, climate analytics, geospatial systems, software engineering, and building scalable platforms.
Alper is responsible for Climingo’s benchmarking engine, vendor integrations, evaluation methods, and core technology platform.
